PUBLIC BETA 0.1.020
This software is currently released as a beta version, so you run this software at your own risk. Human Capital Software Solutions, Inc. accepts no responsibility for the consequences of running this beta software. Please back up your entire computer's storage devices before using this software.

INTRODUCTION
The Human Capital software is currently available for Macintosh platforms, although the final release will also support common Windows platforms. It provides an area within which the user can interact with a virtual customer (client) who dials in to a support center - the user takes on the role of one or more agents who has to deal with these clients. The agent must accept the incoming call and respond to requests made by the client by composing a conversation out of recorded components of a conversation.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Human Capital beta 0.1.020 requires a Macintosh machine running MacOS 8 or 9 (use the classic version), or Mac OS X (use the osx version), at least 32 megabytes of RAM, a monitor running at at least 1024x768 in thousands of colours, and pair of speakers plugged in to a working sound output. If you are using Windows, you will require Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 or XP, with atleast 64 megabytes of RAM in addition to the hardware requirements of the Macintosh version.

USING THE SOFTWARE
Launch the software and await an incoming call. Press the [Answer] button in the Call Control panel. Clients will talk by themselves (this can be adjusted in the Preferences). If they are very quiet, you can prod them using the [Prod] button. Respond by choosing your agent in the Agent panel drop-down list, and dragging and dropping a phrase from the list onto the timeline. Alternatively, you can simply double-click on your chosen phrase from the list - it will be added at the end of the time. Try to answer all your client's queries, then terminate the call by pressing the [Hang up] button. Users may also undergo an ability test by choosing the 'Call Centre Setup Assistant' menu option. This assistant asks you a series of questions, and based upon your answers, rates your ability to work as a call centre agent.

SOFTWARE UPDATES
Please bookmark and visit our web site, http://www.humancapitalsoftwaresolutions.com/ regularly for information and updates to the software. We shall be shortly releasing a newer version that improves the functionality of the software and interaction with the clients.
